BNI Pitch

ARR

Slide #15 - The Pirates of Exit Planning. The importance of ARR in business valuation.

This post is about one of my 45-second pitches at my BNI Chapter, BNI City Business. You can read the introduction to this collection here.

I had planned to continue with my Cloud Computing meme slides, but the importance of ARR – Annual Recurring Revenue – to sale value had come up in a discussion that week, and I thought it timely to share that with the chapter.

ARR naturally (in my head at least) leads to pirates, hence Captain Jack.

I asked the room ‘what is ARR?’ One or two gave me the right answer, but there were plenty of wannabe pirates that morning.

ARR and MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) are important when building a profictable business. Recurring revenue will also increase the value of your business.
