Seek Clarity

Slide #34 - When buying a business, ensure you seek absolute clarity from the vendor, employees, and others, about the business.

This post is about one of my 45-second pitches at my BNI Chapter, BNI City Business. You can read the introduction to this collection here.

18 November, 2022. I had originally planned to have this slide earlier in the Business Buying Tips, but I mixed things up a bit once things got underway. Again, the theme is consistent with the previous few weeks, but more general.

When undertaking due diligence, ensure you seek clarity on anything you don’t understand, anything that doesn’t make sense, has jargon or acronyms you are unfamiliar with. Be relentless in your probling and eliminate ambiguity.
